This is a time when Capitalism has become international so that downsizing sends jobs out of the US ...we have watched the strip mining of American industry to build multi nationals that make a small group wealthier .. ...all of that is at the feet of G H Bush..Clinton and GW who sold out US with the “free trade agreements “...
Newt is right.. American exceptionalism is lost by the greed of a few
Go ahead. flame away. I’ve maintained for at least 20 years, since I’ve become what I consider to be politically aware that corporations are now bigger than governments. And as such, the march towards 21st century feudalism would like nothing more than to see a one world pay scale. The only thing that stands in the way.... the American middle class. Let’s move manufacturing off shore. Then let’s print more money to dilute the lifes’ savings of those who remember. This is not how I envisioned my “golden” years.
Yep. The kind of greed (not to mention, corruption) that prompts a Washington insider to accept a million and a half bucks from Freddie Mac (taxpayers) for...for what exactly again? A million and a half bucks of yours and everybody's money stolen from you as part of a scheme participated in by Newt. Nope. No greed there. Just a Tiffani's card for the little Mrs. in exchange for a "history" lesson or two is all.
yes indeed, and not all practices in capitolism are sacrosanct for heaven sakes!
Yup phoney “free trade agreements”....Wall Street types cooked these up and profited mightily. My sister’s family was friendly for a while with an uber wealthy family (250 million or so). Both families boys played tennis that’s how they met. He was a Goldman Sachs biggie and his thing was promoting trade with China and teaching them the ways of American capitalism
Free trade is for idiots. The high IQ oriental minds (Koreans, Japanese, Chinese) don’t buy into that for a second. We are the stupid magnanimous ones. We had a 23-0 lead and decided to fritter it away
As far as Newt vs Romney..... This in Main Street capitalism vs Wall Street capitalism. Sometimes they overlap but when Wall Street gets predatory it wants to eat Main Street
