I 1 million percent agreed with Santorum at this point in the election in 2008. I hated McCain and did not want him to be the nominee. He was weak and obviously Rick Santorum thought the same. It seemed that Rick and I were right. McCain was weak and a horrible candidate.

True, John McCain was a horrible candidate and I thought the same. But to implicitly endorse Romney as a conservative? That's sketchy to me. If Santorum had just said the "If you're Republican…" part, that would've sounded more legit.

Truthfully, I agree with every word you said. He certainly didn’t have to overly praise Romney.....Boy that is so true. I feel of Romney this year the exact same way I did McCain in 2008...maybe more. To be honest, we were just learning about what a shyster that Romney was in 2008. I personally did not know all the liberal things he believed in 2008. Yep, stupid on my part for sure.
