No kidding...
"Hey Ted, who should I make this check out to?"
Then can I blame the performance of the Mn Vikings this year on Bud Grant because he used to be their coach?
Yup.
I’ve already seen the data, but haven’t posted it because I don’t have the time to make the goods look pretty in HTML.
The net:net story of Bain’s political contributions is this: They started out very small... then in ‘94, the first time Romney was running for an office, the contributions markedly increased at Bain, with a big chunk headed for Romney.
After that, it was a mixed back for Congressional seats through the mid-90’s, somewhat favoring the GOP.
Then after the ‘99 to ‘00 cycle, the contribution level exploded again. In the 2000 race, they were backing Hillary and the Democrats. Since then, it has been pretty heavily stacked for the Democrats. Even in the 2008 cycle, they backed the DNC much more heavily than they backed Mitt.
Slick Mitt ran to the left of Ted Kennedy, may as well be a democrat.....
[Does your 401k have any I vestments with Bain?]
I’m not running for president.
Did Romney leave Bain Capitol back in 1985 like Bud Grant left the Vikings? Now if you had said Brad Childress or Mike Tice we may have some kind of comparison.
Rush has been a Romney supporter for a long time. He is clever about how he goes about it but It seems like people are starting to see the truth.
Rush is not a conservative, he just plays one on the radio.
>>>Im not running for president.
Irrelevant. You’d be just as evil as Willard for having investments in Bain, and just as responsible as he is for the current political contributions.
Romney is no longer with Bain but I know one of the guys running it now Steve Pagliuca is a big lib. I believe he ran in the primary for Dead Ted’s seat.
I have listened and watched Rush for yrs. but he has moved to the left on this issue.
Plus, he has angered a large part of his listening audience because he is and has been supporting the establishment candidate.
Just look at the man’s website, it’s bash Newt all day every day. Then he has the audicity to try and convinence us that its all about defending CAPTIALISM. Bull Feathres.

The Dems are the Pimps.
The Reps are the whores
As long as the pimps don't beat the whores up to bad, and give them a tad of the take, it be ok. And you will only hear about the awful things the whores did.
Sadly, that the way it appears....!

THANKS
Go right ahead and use it!
In both examples mentioned (Staples and Holden), the state/county offered deal sweeteners from state/county funds. That's similar to what Perry and Texas have done to entice businesses to move to Texas, right? Yet, Perry is one of the biggest critics of this? I'm not sure I get that.
The biggest take away for me is that Myth keeps talking about Bammy's bail out's/spending, etc., yet he was happy to take taxpayer $$ to sweeten his own deals. Hypocrite.
