Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin challenged GOP presidential front-runner Mitt Romney to furnish his tax return and supporting documents that would prove he created the 100,000 jobs he claimed he did while CEO of Bain Capital.
"Governor Romney has claimed to have created 100,000 jobs at Bain and people are wanting to know is there proof of that claim and was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens?" Palin told Fox News Sean Hannity.
Palin said that transparency was needed as Romney would likely be targeted by Democrats on this issue if he were to become the Republican nominee.

While I gave a few examples, news sources from the left, the right, Libertarian news sources, far-left news sources, far-right news sources are all coming to the same conclusion: Romney is full of crap.

Gov. Palin is making a valiant effort to stay relevant, but truth is, she had her chance and chickened out.

The Romney campaign’s retort is to cite Staples, Sports Authority and Dominos.
Problem is, is that they intentionally leave out the job losses from other companies with which Bain was involved and the Romney campaign’s tally is based on current figures, not the period when Romney worked at Bain.

Isn’t it simply amazing that Sarah speaks a few simple words and changes the entire conversation? Nobody does it better.

Gov. Palin is making a valiant effort to stay relevant, but truth is, she had her chance and chickened out.
She can no longer be the star, but she has a role in the supporting cast. She can go after Romney because it doesn't matter if it runs up her negatives, she isn't running for anything. She can become the conservative answer to Karl Rove. Just as Rove savages conservatives as Romney's hit man, Gov. Palin can hammer the RINOs as the conservative branch of the party's enforcer.
It is not a job that is likely to make you loved. However by running up her negatives the press has given her little to lose in that realm. It is a job that pays well and provides TV face time.

Romney is to Bain and its “created” jobs what Kerry was to his Vietnam record and medals. You can get away with the false claims in local politics, but when you go national, the REAL data comes out.

I wonder if Romney has figured out conservatives don't like him and don't have his back yet? How does he think he's going to win when we obviously hate him and we're openly working against him? Does he think that's going to change because he manages to weasel his way in against our will? Hell no. That will make it worse. Why would anyone invest in this fool's campaign when it's clear that their investment will not yield a return?

If what Romney did at Bain was legal, fine.....but don’t expect it to be a plus when running for President, and don’t try to dress it up that way....he made money, great....good for him...I don’t begrudge that, if it was legal, as maybe as unprincipled it may have been, but that’s not my business....but him running for President IS my business.
