I beg everyone to attempt to be a bit more farsighted than they are at this point.
Think to the debate stage in October. Think of the two men up on that stage.
Debates really matter. We can say all we want Obama won’t debate, but he WILL have to at some point. There WILL be debate.
I really do not want Santorum doing that debate, when we could have had Newt absolutely vaporizing Obama. PLEASE.
Newt can be tempered with the right folks around him ...but we NEED him out front, to carry the conservative message. He is the ONLY one who can do it in the most lethal way possible.
Santorum will look like the boy scout they say he is on stage. Yes, he’s articulate, but he lacks the venom necessary.
