Ron Paul Defends Romney, Lashes Out at His Critics By Jonathan Karl
In an exclusive interview outside a Manchester polling place, Ron Paul lashed out at fellow Republicans for making unfair and ignorant attacks on Mitt Romney's business record.
"I think they're wrong. I think they're totally misunderstanding the way the market works," Paul told me. "They are either just demagoguing or they don't have the vaguest idea how the market works."
Paul also came to Romney's defense for saying " I like to be able to fire people."
"I think they're unfairly attacking him on that issue because he never really literally said that," Paul said. "They've taken him way out of context. He wants to fire companies."
In Paul's view, Romney is right to say that he created jobs by restructuring companies.

I even think Paul’s proposal to shut down 5 departments is statist. I have at least 9 on my list.
I’d vote for Ron Paul 100 times against the America hater we have in office.
Sure- but you do one at a time. Dept. of Ed is a nest of Marxists.
I’d take them all down ASAP.
I was born in Wichita, by the way. I look at it this way. I’ve worked for 4 corporations. They make monumental mistakes and when they realize it they try to capture the most gain and get away.
Venture capitalism is the same way. Anyone tied to these groups needs to be held to a standard, though. Did you try to make it work or did you just make a half-assed effort, and suck out the most you could and move along.
Integrity and Capitalism should be side to side or else they’ll be cannon fodder for socialism and communism.
Capitalist’s are smarter than most but never seem to realize when the rubber hits the road they’re out-numbered.
Like the lib media, you’ve misquoted him. He did not say “I like to fire people”. What he said was “I like to be able to fire people.”. It’s the “be able to” part that changes the meaning of the quote.
Actually, he did use the wording I quoted, however, the meaning given the actual context has been distorted.
