I thank you for your kind words regarding my son. I will pass along your thanks to him. He's at this time awaiting a flight to take him out of Afghanistan back to his post as he is rotating out of Afghanistan early (not due to injury).
Yes, I recall Irvin. He, like Terrel Owens (first with the 49ers, then with multiple teams), were great athletes with severe off-field (and with Owens - on-field) problems. In my opinion they should have been given the boot long before they did.

Whatever else happens, Tebow has proven his worth to the Denver Broncos. I hope you're right, Jeff.
I kept rerading how his playoff performance was going to be his make or break. Elway, for some reason, was threatening to trade him. I hope this puts that talk on the back burner for now. I think Elway forgot how his first season went.
Go Broncos!

It’s the sports world’s version of Palinization.

I still cant see them. He's just learning the pro game. In college ball he WAS the game.

Some of the Tebow-bashing is because he is a Christian, but certainly not all. I dont know if youre a football fan... but on occasions he can be horrifically bad. Almost painful to watch. I can't help but think of the career of a Jewish ball player who also had an erratic start; Sandy Koufax.

I’ve never heard any sportswriters complain that they hear too much about black quarterbacks. Hmmmm. Sarah Palin and Tim Tebow both drive the media crazy because they are unashamed of Christ.
To: Grunthor
I agree Grunthor.
He is exciting to watch, and that pass made my week, and put a smile on my face despite the falcons less than dismal performance.
True, he is not pro bowl yet; he is a rookie. He deserves some slack for his occasional screw ups, just like all rookie QBs.
But, right now, I am lovin it.
And the Broncos likely loss to the pats won’t change that.
Anytime liberal/atheist heads explode is a reason to celebrate.
And, don’t ya know all these “coincidences,” which I find incredibly uncanny, irritate the libtards to no end.
GO DENVER!

I hate passing stats since they don't include the ones the receivers should have caught. The bad news about Tebow (for the other teams) is that he is learning to throw to the right. Pittsburgh was not prepared for that.

As a Steeler fan, I give congrats to Tebow and the broncos. They beat us far and square. It was a good game and was on the edge of my seat until the bitter end.
Tebow was good when it mattered.

Does it really matter as long as he's still playing? If he's traded, so be it, whoever should happen to pick him up will then have the Tebow following........and I'm now an admitted follower.

Does it really matter as long as he's still playing? Well, as a Broncos fan since the Orange Crush days, it matters to me!!! It's more fun if your favorite QB is playing on your favorite team.

People tend to forget that the Broncos were pretty horrible last year. No skill position players to speak of. Holes in the roster everywhere. Recycled, cast-off running backs.
It's not like Tebow stepped into a situation where anyone could succeed. Orton, who is capable of moving a team up and down the field, couldn't make it work.
A healthy Elvis and the emergence of Von Miller have been vital to their success this year.

I don’t think Tebow would endorse your statement.
To: Hot Tabasco
I hate passing stats since they don't include the ones the receivers should have caught. I would add that Tebow also throws a lot of balls away deliberately, to avoid a sack and many other times he throws very conservatively to avoid a turn-over. He apparently couldn't care less about his passing stats.
