"Ah, someone here who actually reads an article before commenting - kudos to you, and no sarcasm attached."
Thanks. However, as Windflier noted to me. Rush has declared it on his radio show and it's up on Drudge report as Todd endorsing Newt. As the reporter said in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance". When the legend becomes fact, print the legend. Todd is somewhat of a neophyte in dealing with the media. If an endorsement of Gringrich is not what he intended I hope he has learned a lesson. In this sound byte world, ipso facto he has endorsed Newt. As Winston Churchill whimsically noted, A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get it's pants on.

After his wife being in politics for 20 years and both of them campaigning nationally for approaching 4 years, and his wife being the most attacked, reviled conservative in American history, I don’t think that I would describe Todd and his intimate cooperative media relationship with his wife’s political image as one of being a neophyte with the media.

(Romney is unquestionably the weakest party front-runner in contemporary political history.)
