A Presidential candidate should do a half hour TV spot on jury nullification and why the Founding Fathers considered it a necessary check on out-of-control legislatures (like California's).
American justice could be radically transformed overnight.
How about ALL presidential candidates should at the very least be asked in one of the many "debates" for their opinion on whether a criminal jury should consider just the facts of the case, or the facts and the law?
(I haven't peeked, but have a hunch just where five of the six R candidates will come down on this.)
