NASHUA, N.H. Mitt Romney has survived 2011s Republican debates relatively unscathed, a key factor in his solidifying his place at the GOP presidential frontrunner. But tonight, Romneys likely to come under fire more than ever before, and hell have to get through the debate without the help of Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.

Dear Republican field,
To all of the candidates not named Willard-if any you want to have a prayer of winning, tonight better be one giant Romney pile on.
We are watching you!
Signed, The Conservatives
He hasn’t said anything. So, of course, he’s unscathed.
Now, he needs to be hammered with some very direct questions and if he ain’t giving a clear enough or sincere enough answer...Drill down....and interrogate him...
If we could just have ONE debate where EVERYONE on stage is attacking Romney! Just ONE
They did it to Perry MULTIPLE times
They did it to Cain MULTIPLE times
They did it to Gingrich MULTIPLE times
just freaking ONCE just ONCE have everyone and the moderators attack Romney... and watch him melt like butter. Romney has a glass jaw, but no one has taken a swing at him.
I love the way you big fellas thump your chest about not being manipulated by the media....unless they tell you what you want to hear.
Yes! The feeling Bluto got when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. Let’s goooooooooooooooooo!
But the 2 N.H. debates are opposite NFL and Church. (Football AND God!) The MSM really knows how to market to Republicans, don’t they?
Got your popcorn, beer, and tin foil hat ready for the debate?
Get a life. I wasn’t agreeing or disagreeing with the article. Just said it would fan the flames of those who have said for months that she was a troll for Mitt.
So actually - those Freepers who said that (and I was NOT one of them) were AHEAD of the media on this one — not vise versa.
So I guess your post was totally void.
“To all of the candidates not named Willard-if any you want to have a prayer of winning, tonight better be one giant Romney pile on.”
Don’t count on it from the nutcase. That crackpot will continue as the Obama/Soros/Romney useful idiot polluting the entire debate. He will continue his anti-Constitutional rant to gut national defense.
So why does Sarah defend Paul? I don’t get it. She says we’d better not ignore him?
If Michele were trolling for Willard, she would have stayed through SC.
I agree. Michele’s a great conservative. All the freaking people that said she was going to endorse Romney in her concession speech were dead wrong. That said, I hope they all pile on Mittens tonight.
When I first read the title, my first thought
What? Michelle Obama?
If Michelle did what she did because she thought Mitt was seriously considering her for VP, all I can say is, “Silly girl, the VP is for grownups.”
There is no way Mitt would really have been seriously considering her, at this stage of the game.
Maybe, if he became the nominee, at that point, any phone calls for positions, could be taken seriously.
Paul has a significant number of supporters who Republicans ignore at their own peril. Paul makes some (not all) ligitimate points that candidates should address. The Republican establishment ignoring legitimate issues raised by a significant amount of voters is what fueled the Perot candidacy.
Palin's warning was well grounded.
Bingo. Those attacking Ron Paul are very short sighted.
I don’t think she was defending him. I think she was saying the rest of the field—except Santorum—is so weak that the old codger could win by default.
Frankly, I think it will be a brokered convention if Santorum is prevented from assuming the Pubbie mantle.
I’m betting the RINO-led, demrat-controlled national GOP will not allow a conservative to run on the Pubbie ticket. It will be interesting to see how the state GOPs play it. If they fail to force the GOP to regain its former position as an opposition party to the demrat party the GOP will die or simply become an open arm of the demrat party.
Some new entity will ultimately fill the opposition void. Certainly the Tea Party movement has the potential to emerge as an organized national oppsition to the Marxists.
