This wouldn't work if Republicans were not afraid to demonstrate how, in regards to Wall Street ties, there is no actual difference between Romney and Obama.

This election is looking more and more like one from the old Soviet Union - two candidates from the same party, pick the one you think is prettier. :)

Consider some text from yesterday's Just-Us filing to the Supreme Court on zer0Care:

page 16:

bY CONTRAST, mASSACHUSETTS IN 2006 SUCCESSFULLY PAIRED INSURANCE MARKET REFORMS WITH A PROVISION REQUIRING INDIVIDUALS TO PAY A TAX PENALTY IF THEY DO NOT “OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN CREDITABLE COVERAGE.” mASS. aNN. lAWS CH. 111m, § 2 (lEXISnEXIS sUPP. 2011). ¢ONGRESS CITED THE mASSACHUSETTS LAW AS A TEMPLATE FOR KEY PROVISIONS OF THE aFFORDABLE ¢ARE aCT, INCLUDING THE MINIMUM COVERAGE PROVISION. sEE 42 U.s.¢.a. 18091(A)(2)(d).

and again, on page 30:

iN CONTRAST, ¢ONGRESS FOUND THAT mASSACHUSETTS AVOIDED THESE PERILS BY ENACTING A MINIMUM COVERAGE PROVISION AS PART OF BROADER INSURANCE REFORMS. tHAT mASSACHUSETTS LAW “HAS STRENGTHENED PRIVATE EMPLOYER-BASED COVERAGE: DESPITE THE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN, THE NUMBER OF WORKERS OFFERED EMPLOYER-BASED COVERAGE HAS ACTUALLY INCREASED.”

and, if that is not enough, on page 41a:

(d) tHE REQUIREMENT ACHIEVES NEAR-UNIVERSAL COVERAGE BY BUILDING UPON AND STRENGTHENING THE PRIVATE EMPLOYER-BASED HEALTH INSURANCE SYSTEM, WHICH COVERS 176,000,000 aMERICANS NATIONWIDE. iN mASSACHUSETTS, A SIMILAR REQUIREMENT HAS STRENGTHENED PRIVATE EMPLOYER-BASED COVERAGE: DESPITE THE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN, THE NUMBER OF WORKERS OFFERED EMPLOYER-BASED COVERAGE HAS ACTUALLY INCREASED.

Obama will not even get 40% of the vote against Romney.

Democrats will not vote for him!

They are not stupid twice.

Romney is not afraid to do what it takes to win!

McCain was the weakest Republican in history.

He even campaigned for Obama on October 10, 2010.

Romney made Newt cry.

He will make Obama load his pants!

Mitt will paint Obama as the Wall street guy first.
What I am finding out the most so far in this campaign is Mitt knows how to win the dirt fight.Look what he did to Newt.
Mitt also the only one to be able to keep up with Obama dollar for dollar.
Mitt not my first choice.

Obama had no record to speak of the first goround. His record of failures, and his ignorance and contempt of the constitution will be his destruction no matter who the republican nominee is.

Yes, Wall Street greed. Game, set, match, down goes America, even if Romney can survive what Obama will throw at him. Great graphic.

I saw Republican campaign operative Ed Gillespie (I think it was) on FNC a week or so ago when he said, “I’ve seen the opposition research on Romney and it’s this high”, as he lifted his hand high over his head.

In 1994, Ted Kennedy ran against Mitt Romney. Romney ran on his jobs record in the private sector. Sound familiar?

Well, get ready for Barack Obama’s ad campaign against Mitt Romney.

The nomination of Romney would also suppress the vote for the GOP down ticket.
His anti-coattails might well result in Dem gains in the Congress. Whereas if we have a conservative candidate, we might get a majority in the Senate and increase our numbers in the House.
If he’s nominated, I’ll go to the polls, but I think a lot of conservatives and leaners will just stay home altogether.
