MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) Jacob Volkmann admits hes trying to make a name for himself as a fighter. The problem is its getting him in trouble at his other job.
Following a fight last Friday, the 31-year old White Bear Lake man was being interviewed by Joe Rogan. Volkmann told Rogan that President Obama should call him to schedule a glass-ectomy. Rogan then asked what a glass-ectomy is.
A glass-ectomy is when you cut your bellybutton out and put a piece of glass in there so when you have your head up your butt you can see where youre going. Volkmann said.
The White Bear Lake School District apparently was not amused. Volkmann, whos an assistant wrestling coach for White Bear Lake, said the district put him on paid administrative leave.

In America you have freedom of speech, but Just watch what you say... Boy.
Here in nobamanation we don’t need no stinkiin’ first amendment!!!!!!!
As The Clash, a notable band from your current home, put it:
You have the right to free speech - as long as you’re not dumb enough to actually try it!
They were a bunch of Leftists who said some really conservative things from time to time, only they didn’t really know it.
bump that
how many times can he say ‘phenomenal’ during a fight?
When we said “Free Speech”, we didn’t mean for you!
Now go pay your taxes - we need raises.
“Suspended from his public school job?”
THOU MUST NOT SPEAKETH ILL OF THE MESSIAH, or else.
No dick-tater likes smart azzes.
What law?
My grandson - Jonathan Brookins:
Brookins vs. Rocha, Watson vs. Dillashaw Booked for UFC on Fuel TV 1 - MMAFrenzy.com
With their original opponents sidelined, featherweights Jonathan Brookins and Vagner Rocha will now square off at UFC on Fuel TV 1, while a bantamweight bout betweenWalel Watson and TJ Dillashaw has also been booked for the February 15 event in Omaha, Nebraska, the UFC announced Thursday...
The right to free speech is a limited right. There are hundreds if not thousands of examples of organizations disciplining their employees for comments they have made -- even while not speaking as representatives of that organization.
Since it is political speech that reflects a personal opinion, I don't agree with the school's decision to do this, but they are well within their legal rights to do so.
Last line of the article:
“A call was made to the White Bear Lake School District Friday evening, but the call has not yet been returned.”
Why not? Didn’t the janitor hear the phone ringing?

Many Obama critics claim Obama has some sort of plan to crack down on dissenters and have them interrogated and sent to prison or reeducation camps or something. But with Obama simultaneously gutting the military-if one is an aspiring dictator, their natural instinct is to spend more money strengthening the military-it makes one wonder he plans on doing that if he is in fact planning it. Does he think the Secret Service could go after all of the millions, tens of millions even, who dont approve of him ? Will he expect to issue written orders to American supporters to make citizens arrests and then they will just do it ?
He has been suspended before for political speech. It won’t stand this time either.
Public schools are public actors and can NOT limit political speech by it’s employees off campus whether they think it is crass or not.
You have made the key distinction. Private organizations/companies can dole out discipline as they see fit. The government, however, cannot carte blanch punish someone for exercising their right to free speech. The man didn't trash the principal, or the teachers or the students or anything related to the school or his job. The school will be sued and will lose. More taxpayer money down the drain because of the acts of liberals.
Just like the USSR you could be sent to the gulag for not celebrating Stalin’s birthday, telling a joke about him etc.
He should beat their asses off.
