We paid involuntarily into this SS system, we want back what’s owed to us, which money has nothing to do with past, current or future military, education, welfare spending, et cetera, despite of what you might have been told by the gummint and the MSM to believe (and apparently do believe.) It’s like MF Global’s customer money that’s mysteriously missing, but at least, according to some regulations and rules, was supposed to be separated from the firm’s money, and we hope is separated in your own brokerage and mutual fund firms money buckets. My kids have no claim on what - oppressive taxation on their future earnings? Have you noticed that “we” are 16 Trillion in debt? Contrary to popular belief and some of what I am reading on here the SSI Trust Fund does not exists in a vacuum or lockbox. It’s a guarantee by the same government that is 16 Trillion dollars in debt that grows more each passing day. It all comes from the same government and same printing press.
There is no trust fund! There is nothing... it’s a ponzi scheme that is administered by fools. Don’t worry though, I expect our politicians to completely destroy our currency and economy to honor their promises to cut those checks to you.
