I don’t like tax increases.
But when you look in the mirror, the enemy is - us!!!
As long as the public demands extravagent services from the government, their will be a price to pay.
Years ago,it was the responsibility of familes to take care of aged and infirm parents. Today, they can’t be bothered. They want a government program to do it. It comes with a price tag.
And that is just a very small example of what I’m saying.
(DISCLAIMER: This is NOT meant to be offensive to elderly infirm people or their non-care-givers. I’m always a politically correct commentor.)
People CAN’T stay home and do it. They have to make money. A person to stay at home and cook, clean, and care was not a luxury until the FDRs socialists came along. It was NECESSARY. To eat well, someone needs to be cooking, cleaning, planning meals, and shopping most of the day. We are unbelievably squeezed these days.
And I reject the notion that the clamoring mob is causing the out of balance condition. This man has LOOTED the value of America and largely pissed it away into slush funds and black holes. Raising taxes isn’t going to do much of anything to address that. But it sure as hell WILL depress economic activity even more, and put yet another hole in all of our budgets that we’ll have to cut, cut, cut to fill.
As a matter of fact, I agree with basically nothing in your post.
