Often, the quicki-mart is the only available place that inner city people have to grab a gallon of milk, or pack of smokes. Many of these denizens do not have a car, and cannot take bus, late at night to Whole Foods, in the 'burbs, where you live, to stock up on the necessities. They provide a valuable service to the 'hood.
