I wonder if KFC is doing the same thing here in the U.S.A.

I'd assume it is - and let KFC corporate worry about unfortunate rumors, lost sales, forced restaurant closings, bankruptcy, etc.

BTW, Church's Fried Chicken is owned by an Islamic investment bank that has full control over the menu. There are obviously "halal" sources of chicken meat in North America.

Just eat at a KFC that is built into a pizza hut as the pizza has pork sausage in it.
