I was rude to a lot of people this primary season and saw myself getting really angry. It was sorta psychotic in a way. Reading Jim’s thread, I recognized some behavior in myself that I really didn’t like. I lost the vision of what this primary was about. I forgot that Romney and Obama are the enemy and not Governor Perry and even more so Governor Perry’s supporters. So although, I would have come to this conclusion on my own eventually, you can blame Jim for it happening so quickly. :-) I have seen this written a few times tonight and I really, really like it.....”Go Perry, Go Newt, Go Santorum!” Because quite frankly all of us will get behind of these good folks in the end. Ya know, I was seeing myself get upset and angry at some of the posts on the Perry threads. I had to get taken off the Ping list really fast because it was just not in my blood to be so upset or angry over a post or fifty or five hundred LOL so I prayed about it a LOT.
And a lot of times I’d start out a response and knew it sounded pissy or angry and that’s not how I wanted to come off. Mostly I just wanted to question the intense hatred of Perry by some of the posts on the Perry threads. That’s how I read a lot of the anti comments, as hatred. Not good ole fashioned joking around or an eye roll comment but deep intense hatred.
You’re right that we’ll get behind these good folks in the end ( Go Perry Go Newt Go Santorum ).
I’ve always liked Perry first. Then Cain secondly ( we know what happened with that ) and then really started looking at Santorum and Newtster too.
And I realized that either of the 3 , warts an all like JimRob said, were fine people and I’d tap the screen for either of them.
In fact either yesterday or the day before , I had RICK RICK NEWT ( not in that particular order I think ) in my tagline.
Now I am just being funny or trying to be funny with my newest tag line LOL
