Big deal. Families often have different political loyalties. My mom's maiden name was well known to be democrat. Grandma was a Republican, and mom's more conservative than I am. Dad's side of the family is split all different ways. More are to the right than the to the left, but you have the entire political spectrum.
I was a Paul voter in 08. I still like him although Paul goes further out than I do on a few things. I haven't decided yet for this year. Not Romney is as far as I'm committing.

Down here so few white liberals that most families are conservative with an outlier or two at most
My large clan of 100 or so in MS, TN, NC, TX may sport 2 libs...seriously
