" I would have liked a more definite result but this a good outcome for the rest of Election 2012. "
Actually, Rick did better than most people including me expected... he surprised many tonight.

“He speech tonight was Presidential.”
Yes it was. Yet, they say Mitt won..... Mitt beats a guy who was at the bottom of the polls -— and Mitt “won?”
Whatever! It was a blowout victory for Santorum!

What Jim no kind words for Paul and his Paulettes? ;-) I doubt JimRob uses childish name lingo when referring to presidential candidates and their supporters.
We'd sound like the Hate America First, baby-killing, socialist, morons over on DU?

Santorum has my vote. I’ve liked him for a long time now. Looks like a candidate we can trust for a change.

I put is this way, I know at least one Independent who voted for Obama and he won't vote for him this time around.
I even hear black people complaining about Obama.
If Gas and fuel prices go through the roof again in a few months, and the economy still is stagnant, Obama loses.
The MSM can sugar coat the news about the economy all they want, but the MSM won't be able to save Obama from a defeat this time around.
His charm and Messiah persona has worn off.... he can't run on a record of accomplishing anything.

I think there would be the makings of a great administration if things worked out this way ... Santorum for president, Perry for vice-president, Gingrich for Sec’y of State, Bachmann for Sec’y of Commerce, Ron Paul as White House valet, and Mitt Romney as private citizen Mitt Romney.
And for the Obama administration, well Gitmo would still be available, right?

People forget those are human beings campaigning. Their families are making sacrifices. It’s difficult to say the least. I agree with you, Jim. Thank you for the words that unite. Congratulations to Rick Santorum for the good finish.
I’ll hang out and wait for word from Governor Perry’s camp. I pray he’ll stay in for a great many reasons. But, this an incredible night for Rick Santorum and his beautiful family.

Yes, I have forgotten the number of times I have said, two conservatives left, Backmann and Santorum, pick one. People in Iowa did well as did you. Hats off!!

Even if he loses by a few votes—he really won. The way he came from behind in the last week is all the difference. But it aint over folks. Mitten has saved his big guns for the Next Primary—and this time there are crossovers. Perry should pull out and endorse Santorum—same with Michele B. She will stay in for the next Debate—whats that on the 19th? After South Carolina she will be gone—if Newt doesn’t improve in the debates he will be cold chicken. The real race starts today!
Its still anyone’s prize. When the GOP is finished they will be tight around one person—and ready to take on Obama.
If things do not dramatically improve (and I don’t think that’s going to happen) Obama is finished and with him the whole Progressive wing of the Democrat party.
