I don’t understand why we didn’t go with him in the first place instead of playing around with Perry, Cain and Newt.

You are so right! I didn't decide on Santorum until late November myself and then had reservations when I saw only 1, 2, or 3 percent support nationally, which may still apply. I think he would be good in the office and he has much less baggage than Gingrich and is a good debater if people could understand.

It’s a mystery to me, also. Santorum has experience in the Senate; he has an impeccable personal life; he is youthful and attractive; he is 100% conservative.

What’s not to like?
