Milward Simpson was a principled conservative, but Alan K. Simpson has been whispering nice things in liberal ears for a generation now. It may have cost his liberal son the gubernatorial nomination in 2010. Instead it went to Cliff Hansen’s grandson. Alan K. Simpson was not WY’s shining moment.
I thought Simpson was fun on wheels for a very long time, but I grew up and he grew senile, period.
