Perry said he’s going back to TX to reassess; Newt said he’s going on to NH. I would think, while Romney seems to have NH sewn up, Newt would do well to start his campaign to defeat Romney’s negative advertising in NH before heading to SC. "Re-assess" is code for "suspend" or in other words, cease running for president.

This is political speak.

Herman Cain had to eventually say those words, too.

It is done incrementally so as to not let too many down too quickly, plus he may have bills to pay off and need to keep the donation function active. Yes, my guess after tonight is the Rick Perry's candidacy is more or less a dead duck.
