Pretty easy for the camel jocks to talk big when they are sure nothing will come of it. Like most of these 8th Century idiots, they have no realistic knowledge of who they are threatening, being election year and nobama looking like a lose, he or dems in general are more likely to start something in hopes of re-election.

Guarantee, when the carrier group sails back into the Gulf, not one peep will be heard, just like many times past.

Obama is no leader. I am not saying this out of rancor, it is a simple true observation. His handling of the Gulf oil spill was symptomatic of his lack of leadership. He made high handed demands = “Just plug the damned hole!” - rather than understanding issues and alternatives, taking responsibility for results and communicating goals and priorities. Same on healthcare. He gave a wave of his hand and left the heavy lifting to Pelosi and Reid, two supremely ill-equipped individuals.

I seriously fear that Obama could actually lose a military confrontation with Iraq. In 1940, France had a larger and better equipped army than Germany, and unlike Germany, had a world class navy, was defending a single front, had powerful allies on the ground, including the British Army and RAF, the tacit support of her neighbors and other neutrals. The Maginot Line *successfully* narrowed the front that needed to be defended, forcing the invaders to go through well armed neutrals, Belgium and Holland.

How could they lose?

They had appallingly bad leadership.
