"It’s no wonder that the concept that they were trying to get him off track is light years beyond those who don’t know what “no” means."

Your condescension has been really over the top here. You think your brilliant insight is simply "light years beyond" almost everyone else on the thread. Alas, (a candidate) understanding how the MSM can spin and highlight certain words and remarks is a key part of playing the media game of politics. It matters NOT ONE BIT if Newt uttered the word "no" on a video that hardly anyone will ever see, because what the MSM reports is the Swiftboat/Romneyboat meme which Newt did not have to use but chose to use. That is what many of us have objected to. What matters is that he employed the "****-boated" meme in a way which implies that the main media narrative of 2004 is correct. He did not need to do that but he did.

Over the top? Heck, I've been holding back, biting my tongue, put on the kid gloves.

It matters NOT ONE BIT if Newt uttered the word "no" on a video that hardly anyone will ever see, ...

IOWs you are making excuses for getting sucked in by the MSM and putting the blame on Newt for not controlling the spin they might put on it later. You're a freakin' idiot.
