Time to usher in the American Renaissance, carried in on the invigoratingly freshening breeze of President Sarah Palin.

She said "No" I'm not running....have you still not gotten that? She's not in the race nor will she be aside from her supporters who still have not let go of their desire...which is not Palins's desire obviously.... And she's still saying no.

Furthermore I'm not interested in a "refreshing breeze" when our country is in a violent storm for it's survial.

PAlin had her moments and though still hopeful she might serve in Washington in some other capacity...she is not in this race...nor will she be.

She is the candidate she's talking about.

That's what Bolling mentioned, the possibility Palin was describing herself.

She was.

Newt just being nice to her. He’s not picking her (not that she would even want to be anyone’s #2 - I sure wouldn’t.)

I think the Newt was trying to pull in some tea party votes in my not so humble opionion.

Compared to the group we have to pick from...Sarah stands way above them all. After you’ve been a Palin fan..it is tough trying to pick a lesser candidate in every way. Just sayin’...let us have a moment to dream of who was right for the country before we have to come back to reality.

Yea...some of these people have still got it bad...and it’s really embarrassing to think they can’t see thru their obsession.

I am hopeful Palin may play a roll in Washington though...but even then I doubt she will be a part of it. I think the VO and all that followed these past months are enough for her in her opinion. A few News spots along the way etc. but overall as a candidate I think she’s hung it up for her family

Ike was almost FORCED to run. BOTH parties wanted him as their nominee. I'm not saying Gov. Palin is General of the Army Eisenhower, but it has happened in the modern era.

She was, but I hear no bit of a clue that says she’s getting in or thinking about it. She’s looking forward to watching the debate, she said. I wish I’d heard something positive for her running, but I didn’t.

I guess I’m more accustomed to hopefully reading between lines.

I thought I heard Palin more or less confess (not encourage, but confess) if there were a true groundswell for her, she would have to think about that.

More or less what you said, but I thought it sounded like she could be convinced. Not that it would be easy, but possible.

I have been a Palin fan. But I do not live in a dream world especially when our country is at stake in this election.

It’s not tough for me to pick another candidate as I can’t agree with some that Palin is any more favorable than others. She wasn’t the perfect candidate either. She was my favorite...but things have now changed and have for some time now since she said she’s not running. So once she announced time to evaluate and decide of the others running...and that’s the reality I live in.

Frankly we don’t have time to day dream about what could have been, we need to be actively engaged with what is and will be.

I am reminded of now of when Lots wife looked back at what she had lost....

Who do you think makes up that 41% undecided? Could that be the Sarah Palin supporters...not seeing the complete package that Sarah would have brought. Now, Iowans are doing what we here at FreeRepublic must do. Sarah is not running and we need to support who we think can do the best to move the Conservative movement forward.

I must stand with Mr. Newt at this point. I am open to your wisdom here at FreeRepublic. I want to be enthusiastic about someone and I must believe that the answer will appear. I live in North Central Kansas, it is all over by the time it reaches us. The same states choose our candidates and look what we get.

Romney-boated was the the plan laid out by the establishment republicans” to remove one candidate after the other that would rock their power boat. The “establishment” feel they can handle Romney. Mr. Newt will require a completely different scenario.

WE THE PEOPLE will not settle this time. ROMNEY is the
“establishment” choice. Who will fight to break out for WE THE PEOPLE?

We must draft, nominate and elect Sarah Palin president in the most crushing tidal wave of enthusiastic good judgment ever seen in the history of this nation.

Do you think repeating the same question over and over again makes you seem smarter? I’ve heard of your amazing wit, but so far only seen half of it!

more or less confess ..(not encourage, but confess)... if ..reading between lines...more or less...could be...I thought..etc.

Oh come on....we all went thru this when she hadn't made up her mind...do you really think any of us want to go thru these guessing games again?

Not a chance on my part....it's like beating a dead horse and trying to get it to run...Palin's parked her horse in Wasilla where she wants to be...with an occassional peak around the corner for those who are interested.

Frankly I wasn't impressed with this interview. No specific's ...no steam...nothign substantial and she certainly isn't being anymore clear about who she might endorse if any.

I just don't want these games to continue where Fox has her step out there just to fill out her agreement with them.

We all have our weaknesses.

I was supporting Palin before McCain selected her.

I picked that lane.

I’ll vote for someone else, but Palin’s got my vote locked, if she at any point gets in this thing.

Which I very much support.

Hey,the boys are the boss, that's what the boys told us.

Pardon the terrible grammar but isn't it odd that in a world where women are the majority, the boys rule?

Must be because we are so good at it, huh?

I can't say she's got my vote locked if she determines to suddenly step back in...in fact I'd likely not vote for her but choose another candidate. Frankly I can't imagine she would step back up. Many people would be severly p*ssed off at her if she does so...I'm one of them...unless it's to pull votes from Romney. HAve to wait and see where this whole thing plays out further down the road...but I can't imagine she would get back. Just not going to happen..

Furthermore she still fields's direct questions about her stepping back in to other candidates...and that's caddy and not being direct....been there and done that with Palin throughout the year....and not about to do it again.
