I watched (again) yesterday Third Reich: The Rise and Today a Star Trek TNG episode about a Human Colony that practices Eugenics and some of them wanting to leave, but that would "Destroy" the Colony, and to me it seems that the Left believes that EVERYTHING is a means to an end, Children, Happiness, Freedom, if they could some how control it, than the world could be better.

Yesterday I watched Twilight zone all day and am never disappointed by the brilliance of Rod Sterling amazing and frightening vision of the future. "The Obsolete Man" is one of my personal favorites. In it, Henry Wordsworth is a librarian who has been declared an obsolete keeper of obsolete knowledge and will be liquidated. I like the part where he pulls out a bible and explains that he's kept it hidden for 20 years because owning it is a crime punishable by death.

I watched an Outer Limits Episodes a Few Years ago, about how Men had become Extinct, and women ruled the earth, in a Peasant, Mandatory Peaceful 1350's society, and (of course) a Man wakes up from his Cyro-Sleep and comes to a village, well he upsets the apple cart quiet a bit, so the female chieftain comes to the conclusion that it is the Male Gender that cause Violence, and banishes him back to the Cyro Sleep thing, the whole Time I was yelling at the TV, that it was their Ideology (they lived in a Forced Communal, Forced Happiness Society with the Leaders living better than the rest of course) that has caused their society to stagnate, not the "Man" there who offered to help them pull themselves out of the Literal Dark Ages.

So I guess that All Animals (or Children are Equals, unless your Alan Colmes or Rick Santorum's Kids) are Equal, but Some Animals are more Equal than others.

I cannot stand SYFI channel as the movies are so hokey.

BUT when the original TWILIGHT ZONE comes on, CANCEL all my appointments! I saw shows I still remember from 55 years ago!

The Obsolete man (Burgess Meridith) is one of many I recall. I often consider myself to be an Obsolete man using George Bernard Shaw’s definition.

And (”I’m Talky Tina and you better be nice to me!”)

Isn’t it interesting they could make such shows with dialog that stick with you WITHOUT all the glitzy special affects.

So many good actors got their start there!
