There were positive benefits in getting K.S. OUT of KS!
Brownback did the right thing.
There was no chance that any conservative would ever be the head of HHS under Obama.
Now?
Now there is little chance that Sebelius will ever win elective office again, in Kansas!
And, have you looked at all the conservative legislation we have passed, and Brownback has SIGNED, in KANSAS, after getting rid of the Sebelius machine?

You may be right, though she would have easily been confirmed with our without his recommendation.

I do remember how we were patting ourselves on the back after shooting down Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood. over nannygate issues, not realizing that the only female Dem AG liberal Democrat would be someone who apparently doesn't like boys much, and can be all the tougher in her version of law enforcement. The nation would have been better served by a Kimba Wood than a Janet Reno.
