It was a good exchange.
Perry explained about their good ground game; again pointed out that the Politico story is an inside the Beltway story and his team is good; re “splitting the evangelical vote” — that he is the one who has the organization going out of Iowa to continue; Iran — all options including surgical strikes — they will not get the bomb — that they want to wipe Israel off map, then Europe and then us — how it was he who mentioned the bank sanctions and that Congress has finally acted on that; re the VA vote — VA has made it so difficult to be on the ballot that his 100,000s of VA supporters — many military installations and veterans who support him cannot; re will Paul and Romney join to call for other candidates to be on the VA ballot? — Perry said he didn’t expect it as they were probably just fine being the only two on the VA primary. He also mentioned his “outsider” status and Santorum’s “earmark” problem — how he, Perry, is the solid, consistent conservative with executive experience from Texas where 1,000,000 jobs were filled while the nation as a whole lost 2,000,000 jobs.
