Interesting post. I’m assuming either a nutbag or a pot farmer. Prayers for the Ranger.

I wonder if the ranger was shot with an Obamagun from Fast+Furious.

Tempture on the mountain today, high 40 low 23, tomorrow, freezing and snowing. Have never seen winter pot, unless it was metal.

It is pretty late in the season to be a pot farmer.

There is way too much wilderness in western WA outside the park and that is much more remote, to have me believe he would be that stupid to have a growing operation inside the park, where he would have to pass through gates controlled by law enforcement going in and out. My guess he is a neo-nazi ex-con type. In Washington you do have to be watchful of others who share some of the more remote campgrounds with you. A lot of people keep low profiles by using them for a few nights and then move on to the next. Mobile meth labs, illeagle aliens, people growing mushrooms or pot a short hike from these places, and bad guys running from the law. The reason I always pack when I hike or camp in WA.
