I’d like to post one sobering fact and then lay it to rest.
In September, my husband developed debilitating pain and began to decompensate in the physician’s office. Fortunately, the hospital was in the same complex. He was admitted, MRI’d, hydrated, medicated, dx’d w/renal calculi, and released the following morning all better, thank the Creator. The bill for one overnight stay was >$12K.
Fortunately, we have insurance.
Now, how well do you suppose you’re prepared for a few of those episodes?
