Cold enough that I had to buy electric blankets so we could sleep. 2400 square feet of house doesn’t heat very well wth 5 year old wood.
Do you have an actual wood stove, or just a fireplace?
Our house is 1200sf, and we use a proper wood stove downstairs, and what we call a ‘wood insert’ upstairs. (Like a wood stove built into an old fireplace.)
Even then, it can be hard to manage the heat sometimes.
