Is this a state law issure or a state party (GOP) issue?

State law. The law requires 10,000 signatures from registered voters and they didn’t get them.

People are confused because the Party does the verifying and counting.

Both. The law is unsatisfactory for protecting the Republican brand and at the same time it is easily manipulated by a small group of insiders to prevent Conservatives from running as Republicans.

The party has certain responsibilities and they really dropped the ball.

We probably need a new law and some new party leadership no matter what the outcome here.
