That quote is attributed to Ghandi who’s ‘winning’ resulted in the British leaving the Indian subcontinent resulting in the Indian/Pakistan civil war and one million deaths and is still resulting in one of the greatest nuclear threats we have now.
If we started a rumor that Ron Paul is a Jooo who is “secretly” trying to destroy America, do you think Ron Paul would believe it? It seems like something he would print in his news letter.
I know that he was Baptist at one time. However, since his children were all baptized as Episcopalians...I began to wonder about this. Does he still attend the Baptist church? Which part of the Episcopal church might his family attend...the traditional or the liberal? It would be interesting to know the religious beliefs that help form his ideas. His anti-Israel tendencies are coming from somewhere.
This is what EVERY losing candidate and failed movement claims. Usually things just end at the laughing part.
Ron Paul will not be the nominee so he won't be winning anything.
They’ve mostly moved to the fallback position now. They can’t defend Paul’s crud so they don’t try to. They just make statements like: “Boy, they’re reallyscared of him, arent’ they?”
Well yes, normal people do tend to fear the insane.
Speaking as a Jew, I plead guilty to this:
I see that you have nothing to say about the article content.
So, what do you think of it?
Do you agree with it or not?
It’s Replacement Theology, the belief that the promises God made to and about Israel were handed down to the Gentiles in the Church when Israel did not accept Jesus as their Messiah.
It is, in my opinion, the most Satanic and dangerous hearesy to enter into the Church and has cost countless souls, not to mention lives.
Good grief! Which denominations believe that????
With billions involved, have you undertaken to seek any accountability? Billions to Israel is not something to sneeze at. Why do the words “insane,” “kooky,”, “ridiculous,” “anti-semetic,” etc. pop up so quickly whenever aid to Israel comes into play? I would expect the same robust accountability imposed upon Israel as we impose upon the USA. Errr. . . wait. That ain’t happening, is it?
How much have we spent?
What has it purchased?
What have we received in return?
Just asking.
Why do we need to receive something “in return” for helping defend an ally and a threatened country? That’s a disgusting attitude to have.
Because we Jews are responsible for everything!
Does history bear out the fact there’s money to be made in playing “victim?” Yes. It applies across the board to humankind. If Israel is so smart and capable of prosperity, why do they need billions from the USA? People of Jewish faith deserve better, yet we treat them no differently than our ever-growing welfare population.
Well, since you ask: I’d like to see cites where to prove RP really has said the things that have been attributed to him. Direct quotes only, please.
Almost all aid to Israel is military, and most of that is earmarked to be spent in the USA. And that aid is only necessary because the USA bribes and arms surrounding Muslim countries, putting Israel at risk.
I am Baptist and Baptists have almost always been very very pro Israel. Many conservative movements have lost their way by becoming anti-semitic.
Here’s Ron Paul in 2009 accusing Israel of turning Gaza into a concentration camp, and excusing the terrorist bombers who blow up Israeli citizens:

I really didn’t directly respond because I figured you know this, but anyone who looks closely at the ‘aid’ we supply Israel it generally is on one primary front military aid. Military aid comes form our mutual defense treaties and isn’t just handing them cash but sharing resources. It really isn’t a lot either. A half dozen F111s would run over a hundred million. At that, if you look at the actual ‘foreign aid’ to Israel, most of it isn’t cash but resources and often it isn’t even ‘given’ but sold.
The question then is, is it in our interest. If one looks at the history of the region, one can see having a stable democratic society is like an outpost for our interests there. The existence of Israel could be preventing the Ottoman Empire Part II which would put a stranglehold on our economic interests.
The sad part about the world, but part of the reality we live in is influence has to be purchased. Even if we don’t want to, other nations will. Purchasing influence with cash or goods is far cheaper than trading bullets. Yea, it needs to be reigned in but the reality of how the cogs of the wold work can’t be ignored.
“...Baptists have almost always been very very pro Israel...”
YES, I know they have. That’s why I am wondering about where Ron Paul goes to church now...or even IF he does....or IF he even practices what his church teaches.
