Interesting comments about Drudge. Yes, he and Ann are part of the West Palm society and along with Rush, are all good friends. However, Drudge is very anti establishment normally, does not care what anyone else thinks, and lives a lifestyle that is, shall we say, WAY outside the Mormon acceptance. WAY outside. That’s why he might fit the Paul camp if anything.

Likely he and Newt had a crossing of the swords at some point personally. He is clearly trying to make 3 candidates look good and/or strong and Newt look bad/and or weak. Clearly.

Drudge hired 2 political writers earlier this yer:

1. Joe Curl

2. Charles Hurt

So I would be interested in knowing their backgrounds and biases and how they are influencing the Drudge Report’s coverage.

You hit the nail on the head when you said Drudge does not lead the “Mormon lifestyle.” He and Coulter are Hollywood-style Republicans, Arnold-style Republicans. That’s why they like Romney because he is a moderate-to-liberal Republican. You don’t seriously think he represents a devout religious lifestyle to anyone? No one who said what he said about abortion in his various campaigns could be. Romney is very much a Hollywood-style, Arnold-style Republican which is why Drudge and Coulter back him.
