How many times was that asked of Clinton in 1991 or Obama in 2007?

If he can get the nomination, he has a chance. I think he has a chance to get the nomination - not a great chance, but he’s in a position where he could fill a void and make a run.

All of the candidates who have been frontrunners have serious flaws. Do you trust Newt to avoid stabbing us in the back and to avoid doing something stupid and getting impeached? (I don’t.) Do you really believe Romney, who ran to the left of Kennedy in ‘94, is now actually a pro-life conservative who will appoint judges who will follow the constitution? (I don’t.)

The biggest accusations I have seen against Santorum are that he mumbles sometimes. Have you heard Obama without the teleprompter? (OK, maybe not because the MSM won’t show it.) I would at least like to kick the tires and see what he has.

I agree with all you say BUT you have no logical plan in which Santorum can win the nomination. It will take money to stand up against Romney and Santorum has no money and he's not going to accumulate what could be needed to at least cripple Romney in NH. Then comes SC. Can Santorum accumulate enough, fast enough to become competitive in SC? It will be far easier for Perry. That is why I am a Perry person.

Not only that, Santorum has been a senator, not a governor, we have no idea how Santorum would react to events that may confront a president.

I'll also take Perry's expeience of flying military planes into Iran. We may have a showdown with Iran staring us in the face and I want Perry in charge.
