Has anyone asked any GOP candidate what in hell they are going to do with General Motors?
I’m still dumbfounded that 0 was able to fire somebody and they listen to him. Where does he get that power? He should have been told to suck off.
I think it would be counterproductive to keeping, let alone gaining additional support.
Thad McCotter (R, MI) appears on Dennis Miller often. A caller asked about the GM bailout, and he was, as expected, to be all for it, trying to shift the benefits to all the employees of GM suppliers in all the other states...
Just sayin'.
OTOH, I'm sure the Dems have all sorts of sound bites already.
Here's another case to really blame Bush43. He had the opportunity to deal with the GM problem toward the end of his last term, and iirc, the way it was put, "He didn't want to be the one associated with the end of an American Industrial Icon."
