However IIRC, it was worse in Massachusetts - the state would not license the Catholic adoption agency unless they placed children with homosexuals.

In the old days, church charities operated without taking state coin - time to go back to that.

As I understand it, MA has mandated that all foster-care and adoption services must place children in gay households or face forfeiture of their license. This is independent of any funding issue.
