Some hard core liberals I know think he’s the funniest guy in the world. Then again much of their day to day language is loaded with hate and vitriol so I guess it makes sense.
Yes The average liberal-progressive thinks it is okay to be vile because others get away with it. It must be part of their psyche. I wouldn’t know, but you can read the most vicious things at all left leaning websites like media matters, think progress, daily kos and others. Lots of lunatic frnge people post hateful stuff against all people with whom they disagree with.
