I remember Radio Albania, and also the familiar faux-Midwestern news anchor voices at Radio Moscow, pitching the latest agriculture report, telling of America’s latest setback in Vietnam, or introducing the evening Jazz program. But back in the good old days of the Cold War, there was nothing quite like Radio Tirana: it was like taking a graduate class in Propaganda 101. I suspect Obama has the old air check tapes in a drawer somewhere.

That is why I have kept every Ham radio I ever owned someday soon they will be worth more than gold. I still listen to a lot of this even today.
A lot of people didnt know a lot more came over those carriers than just voice and music, like pictures and even slow scan TV.
