But he does fight against it. He earmark the funding then vote against the spending bill for it. Its not his fault that the other gop vote for the spending bill thus allowing them through. So in the end, money going towards projects proposed by elected senators/congresseman go is better than allowing the unelected federal administrators to decide

I’m savvy enough to know that conservative politicians cannot vote conservative all the time. There are times when am earmark will do more good, in the long run, than for it not to be done.

I’m sure that some of Ron Paul’s earmarks actually went to good causes. But you cannot be, consistently, one of the Kings of Earmarks for a long time and still claim to be against them.

Ron Paul is simply playing his supporters like a cheap violin.

Ron Paul has some insightful economic views. But the world is a scary place and that is half the equation that Ron Paul misses. No one who is sane will vote for Ron Paul as a matter of self preservation. And I say that as someone who realizes retrenchment from foreign entanglements is necessary.

Eventually the Soma will wear off and Paulists will realize they’ve been had but not until too late.

You forgot to mention that he votes for other democrats bills in order to get the support for his earmarked bills.
Don't feel bad, he doesn't mention it either. That would take honesty, something Paul has little, if any of.
