No argument here. I just can’t figure out where his supporters will go once he is out of the race.
Oh, alright. He’s a bit of a loon.
Even granting that he is crazy, he is still better than Mitt.
Thanks to the Republicans cannibalizing themselves.
So much for Regan's 11th commandment.
Remember times like this when Obama is sworn back into office in 2012. Then you can pat yourself on the back and say thank God I get rid of all those other candidates.
For the record... Romney will not win because conservatives do not trust him. Newt will not win because Independents do not like him.
Oh and if Trump runs then without a doubt the Republicans will be in the permanent minority. Oh and you will see the rise of the Tea Party.
Saul Alinsky.
Not just for commies anymore.
Ron Paul has a huge following. I see his fans as the most likely source of a third party than anything else out there, and I don’t see it being a one hit wonder, either.
Ron Paul can’t supervise a newsletter staff, but he can staighten out America!
Rather than talking about boring stuff like policy and limiting the federal government to its enumerated powers, let's just believe every state-controlled media smear we hear about any and every non-Democrat candidate and cluck our tongues and exclaim "What were they thinking when they ran for office!"
Character assassination is a lot more fun than that other stuff.
He’s not crazy. He’s just neurologically challenged!
LOL!
I am trying to go to each “example” of Paul’s “looniness” to understand them in context.
In this case, you have misquoted and mischaracterized what he said in the interview. He gave a lengthy and reasoned explanations and (paraphrasing) said that it was heroic to stand up against unjust laws.
In context, I really don’t see what the problem with his statement is. Didn’t the original Tea Party folks break the law of the day when it was unjust and related to taxation? Were their “illegal” efforts heroic?
Hus actions and words speak for themselves. They literally scream nut bag.............
The death throes of the Republican elephant are so ugly.
He’s either crazy or malicious or stupid or just gravely careless about what he says and writes (or allows to to be written in his name). None of which I find particularly attractive in a back-bench Congressman, let alone a presidential candidate.
Ron Paul is nuts (while being absolutely correct on most domestic issues), but unless the Virginia GOP either willingly, or under duress by court challenges, finds a way to put Gingrich and Perry on the primary ballot or allow write-ins in the primary, I hope every FReeper in VA votes for the nut in the GOP Primary to deny the establishment their intent of making sure Romney gets all the VA delegates.
First they came for Palin and I simply stood by waiting for others to defend her. Then they came for Cain. Then they came for Perry. Then they came for Newt. Then they came for Paul. But they NEVER came Mitt. Of course, they WILL come for Mitt. But not for a while yet. They always come for us and we do nothing. We just roll over and take it. We must like be beaten into dust.
Ron Paul is no crazier than ANY DEMOCRAT..
and a boatload of RINOs...
It’s Ron Paul’s supporters who are crazy. They want the rest of us to believe that a man who says he can’t supervise his own newsletter staff can somehow supervise a country.
They also want us to support a man who idea of foreign policy is to withdraw into a shell in a world poulated with reigious fanatics increasingly armed with weapons of mass destruction and petrodollars.
Obama has done better at chasing bad guys than Ron Paul would, and that’s saying something.
