VA is claiming that less than 10K of those signatures belong to REGISTERED voters.

How did they come to that conclusion so fast?

Perhaps, they took a small sampling of names and found that more than 10% of the names were not valid.

In any case, Rick Perry should know that you need more than a 10% overage on a petition.

I don’t believe the signatures have to be registered voters. They only have to be old enough to vote. You can register later.

The person collecting signatures has to be a registered voter.

I can’t verify this because the RPV website is down.
