Funny thing is someone wrote on another thread that if you submit 15,000 signatures, Virginia assumes you have enough and doesn’t even count them. In that case, I wonder if Mitt Romney just signed his own name 15,000 times.

It really makes Paul, Perry and Gingrich look bad though, since none of them submitted over 15,000. Why wasn’t there enough time to just stand outside Walmart until they hit the safe zone?

I presume they still “count” the signatures, by verifying that each page is filled in, or looking at the number on the last signature, and adding them up.

They simply don’t go back and get the names and addresses and check them against address lists and voter registrations.

I didn’t think you needed to be registered though, just old enough to vote.
