Many Democrats are giddy about a recent proposal by Floridas Republican leadership to drastically change the boundaries defining Congressional District 22, now represented by the high profile Republican Congressman, Allen West.
But the decision has left some in the Republican Party scratching their heads.
Broward Republican Executive Committee Vice Chairwoman Colleen Stolberg has sharply criticized the Reapportionment Committee proposal to change District 22 boundaries in a way that would jeopardize Wests chances for re-election.

I am probably going to sit this one, at least from the Presidental level. Unless a bona fide Concervative emeges. I fell for the line,”It is our guy or the Democrat” line the last time when I voted for Mc Cain.
After the next election, West and Palin (among others) should just set up a new political party and start setting up the infrastructure. Let it be the Republocrats (Democratic-Republicans or Republican-Democrats or whatever they want to call themselves) vs. a Constitutionally based, anti-corruption party.
If there was ever a time it could be done . . .
