Just for the heck of it I once followed my GPS directions from the home of a friend in New Jersey. It took me through the most convoluted route through Philadelphia that was twice as long as if I had just used I-95.

Thanks for the pings, Trib.

When I was working and heading west from Center City, except for rush hours it was often quicker for me to take I95 to I476 to PA3 instead of the convoluted Philly streets.

By the way, as I recall the states are all part of a driver’s compact, where any infraction will be reported to your home state DMV. I know that NY would pull licenses for out-of-stste bench warrants. That would ensure his response to the court without the excessive bail or the cash only requirement. Putting a hold against his CDL puts him out of work until it’s resolved. His lawyer should be able to cover the bail using his escrow account, why didn’t he?
