Neighborhood watches, Guardian Angels, Dads Against Drug Dealers—these are all groups that are founded and manned by citizens stepping up to protect other citizens against the dark side of society.
The members are almost always volunteers, family men and women who just want to protect their children, families, and neighborhoods from social elements that prey on the weak and vulnerable.
They watch and report things out of the ordinary in their local areas, their vigilance often stops or discourages crime simply by being visible and vocal.
But this same innocuous organization of local citizens has been hijacked by governments and used against the very people it was supposed to protect.

Governments must always come up with ways of making problems disappear, especially when it causes discomfort amongst the ruling class by making them look the least bit bad. Government, after all is nothing but force and those running it have a prime directive to "look good" at all times, lest they lose control. That's why "prevention" is so important for maintaining control!
Crime prevention, disease prevention, political extremes prevention, criticism prevention, any challenge or other threat to control must at least be marginalized, or "dissed" into irrelevance.
Constitutional conservatism is a prime example of a massive threat to our current government and it will not be tolerated much longer. It's already being discouraged amongst blacks that try to break free from the slavishness to liberalism!!!

I moved out of the "Metrosexual" metropolis into the remote rural "Gold Country" of the once conservative state of mind called CA. Out here, us "Ruralsexuals" have to share one state senator with 13 other huge counties while the "Metrosexuals" in LA county get 13 state senators meeting their needs and wants.
Us rurals have been flat victimized long enough by the liberal Earl Warren Court's miserable "Cows Don't Vote" decision 75 years ago!!!
