Does Bo get to go to Hawaii and not be quarantined like other dogs who go to Hawaii? I have a vague recollection that our military friends with dog had to quarantine their dog when they were stationed in Hawaii. Hmmmm.
Some animals are more equal than others...
When my family moved back to HI we had to leave our dog behind for that reason. IIRC, in the mid-70’s, it was one full year in quarantine.

Hawaii now has a quasi quarantine 5 days or less procedure now.

Dogs have to have rabies vaccines no less than 90 days and no more than a year before arriving.
Paperwork from vet must be sent beforehand.
Microchipped.
A blood sample must be sent to one of two US testing labs ( DOD and K State ) 120 days prior to arrival to insure dog
has responded to rabies vaccine.
All dogs have to go to the Holding Facility for some period ,
those that have fulfilled the above steps are supposedly released
in less than 5 days.
Other dogs have to stay in quarantine for 3 months.
I could guarantee Bo didn’t spend two seconds at the Holding Facility.
I wonder if they crate Bo or if he is free to roam about the cabin
of whatever extra jets we pay for ?
They flew him on his own jet to Martha’s Vineyard ,
so Air Bo is entirely plausible.
I was about to mention that there is a 60 day quarantine for animals brought into Hawaii.
