See, that’s just ridiculous. First you make a statement about employers having to put up with stoners, then you turn the point into “legalizing murder”.

You could just as easily turn it around and ask, since murder and drugs are already illegal, why do we have these things? Because, you know, Prohibition really worked great. Why did we ever repeal it?

Another question for you — how many people in the last year were prosecuted on federal murder charges versus the number prosecuted on state murder charges?

Local governments and state governments are perfectly capable of deciding whether or not they want to legalize drugs in their areas. I would guess that most would not. We do not need the federal government involved in controlling local community decisions one way or another.

Why is that unreasonable?
