When I was in the service, we trained to shoot silhouettes at 800 yards with iron sights. At that range the target was significantly smaller than the front sight.
What are you guys aiming at a mile away?

I just found out about it so I am not familiar with the target. I woud assume it is paper large enough to show 3 minutes of arc at 1 mile.
