Only 5 days? Good grief!!! And I haven’t done any shopping for gifts.
The problem is those I know have everything they need or want. To include myself, there is really nothing I need or want…unless someone wants to give me a few million $ as a surprise.
I thought I would bake a few pecan pies to give away or something similar.
I know. It sounds unclassy, but what else can I do.
Homemade Pecan Pie sounds to me like an absolutely TREASURED Christmas gift.
(Even if my personal #1 pie choice is a coin toss between Mince and Cherry, as done by any of the ladies around The Homestead this time of year....)
I still have a pencil holder on my desk that was made for me by our son when he was in First Grade......wouldn’t trade it for MANY millions.
